The United to End Genocide and the Humane Society of the United States are causes that I am passionate about and I donate 10% of my art profits to them. Thank you for your support!
"The main thing is to be moved, to love, to hope, to tremble, to live."
~ August Rodin
My pastels feature art that speaks to me on a personal level. There are images of places and people that I have met on my travels throughout the country, specifically the American Southwest and the Florida Keys. I usually produce a series of work denoting a particular theme. The portraits of the African women and man are meant to highlight what is currently happening to them in Congo, Sudan and Sierra Leone. Their courage and grace during these times of duress are truly remarkable.
